Great news for prison officers

The justice minister has revealed that work is expected to start later this year on thornton hall. Dermot Ahern has also confirmed that a new block in portlaoise prison is due to open next month. Surely all this activity will get the prison officer recruitment campaigns going again.Won't they need the staff now.I hope so.
