Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you mean how much the car cost new or do you want to know the open market value (ie the value now)?

Originally that car would have been about 18000 punts. For a clean one with a service history you would pay between 2750 and 4000 now

The original market value is usually what the car was sold for, for BIK purposes, but i doubt your driving a 10 year old car as a company vehicle....

I bought a brand new top of the range Vectra for under IR£20k ten years ago. Granted it was a piece of sh!t but I doubt a basic 1.4 Golf cost IR£18k back then. I would think around £14k would be about right.

And anyone who pays over €2,500 for a ten year old one should call the Gardai because they have been mugged.

I bought a Punto Sporting for 12k, at the time a new Golf base was only a bit more, like 14 or 15k.
