What cable do I need?

Dont really have a clue whats meant to be got so the picture looks good. I dont have a hdmi slot on the back of the xbox.

So what exactly should I be looking for to get the best picture and actually make writing on xbox games finally readable?

you need component hdtv xbox cable. the one with 6 plugs. If you don't have one, pm me, I'll sort you out

Is that the scart sort of cable you get originally? It has white yellow and red along with green blue and red I think it is?

At the minute I only have the white yellow and red plugged into my ****ty little tv....

yep, thats the one. You will have to plu red, green and blue (video) and red and white (sound)

Just hooking up the xbox now

Quick question. Do I plug all 5 plugs into the back and just leave out the yellow one? or do i plug in the usual scart ones and plug in the other three aswell?

Also there is a switch on the cable do I need to flick that?

Yeah, just leave the yellow one out and flick the switch to the HD setting.
