Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ahem, I like to think of it as a Black Panther :D:D:D:D:D

(Not a bad contrived explanation from a dodgy b-side of an old U2 single either :pac:).

THIS PHOTO DOES NOT QUALIFY AS IT WAS TAKEN B4 THE SPECIFIED PERIOD- but just to show you I like close ups of wine bottles:cool:
BTW which would you say is the odd one out?

I'm liking this assignment a lot.
So much so that I'm going to stick in two more pics on the same theme. Not shooting this time - cost me a fortune wasting all those cartridges last time just to get a picture!
Anyway, these two are the nuts...........

Not sure which one I like better....

    Nuts part deux!

    Third one from the left.

It's a full bodied Chateau Haute Terre produced on the western slopes of the hill. The grapes were manured by an albino donkey. It's light on the nose, with a hint of apricots.

All the others were from the Eastern slopes of the hill.

You got it in one - give that man a bottle of wine (from a donkey manured vineyard)

Took a while, but eventually spotted the evil "one".

Question is though, where the f##k did you get all those 2's?

I promise - no more entries to this...however, I thought this just might fit the bill.

    Keep going!
I find that when I have a theme in my head, I keep getting ideas! Sometimes I can do them in time, more often I can't, but I bank them for later!

I don't think there's any limit, so keep 'em coming! :)

After my ' throwing the toys out of the pram tantrum' I am indeed happy to get a few 'thumbs up' .

This indeed is the the forum of the world (for Patrick O Brian readers)

And Mrs Keps has said 'OK ' for the first time in a while also- but then she is in Dublin while I'm in Galway!

You could crop it - just keep the right hand side & one broken light, would be a portrait orientation then.

I said I wouldn't, so blame this one on mrmac - he told me to do it!
Anyway, out for a walk this evening with the OH and the dogs and she said "look at the lovely horses, wouldn't that suit the odd one out assignment?"
Well, I just couldn't refuse her, could I?

It suits very well IMO and even better it is just an absolutely fantastic photo.

What ruins are they in the background - not Trim is it?

BTW as this is C&C also - taking a few top 'inches' off the sky here improves the photo in my view (Try it yourself by moving the photo down with the mouse).

I spent so much time trying to get the sky to where it is, it's bloody well staying! :D
It's washed out in the original and took me ages messing around in gimp to bring it up.

I was struggling to come up with an interesting picture on this assignment and in frustration pushed back my chair in the home office to see the subject for this assignment waiting there for me on the bookshelf...........

I was in an office in Ballinasloe and I saw this mascotty thing for the Galway GAA teams.

It reminded me of a photo from the calendar......so I have borrowed it!

The print cost me €4 so this is an expensive entry.

To get your image displaying get the url of the attachment (by clicking on it) and stick that url in between "[img][/img]" tags. This will happen:

    <snip>

That's a massive image! Removed it. Maybe shrink it down first and then do it.
