He could afford excellent lawyers too.

When they don't work he could always throw money at the problem.

From the criminal justice system that brought us the OJ Simpson case.

I'm pretty sure the State of California can afford pretty good lawyers too.

The man was acquitted, argue all you want but history shows him as an innocent man end of story. Move on.

OJ was later found guilty in a civil court.

    Anyway, the analogy doesn't fit.

His analogy? Is that what he called it? Ah well if it didn't fit you must acquit

Its your OPINION but it was proven in court that it is in fact not the case... it might be my OPINION that the moon is square but... you see where I'm going with this

Yes, but OJ and the families of the victims of the Omagh bombers later got vindication in a civil court.

So where's your evidence that he's guilty? By your logic all rich people who have excellent lawyers must be guilty even if found innocent.

Admit it, its just a case of "I want to believe"

    This is really sad.

I really hope he's remembered more for the music legend he was rather than "Wacko Jacko".

And all i can say now is this:

    Sums up his life.
    RIP Michael Jackson!

Oh ffs now when I head out this weekend all the djs will be playing ****e MJ pop music. (Dont like pop, no disrespect to MJ)
Like him or not, He is a music legend and their playing back what he did best.

Expect Movies of his life, Books, His unreleased tracks, Tribute songs by his endless amount of other artist fans i.e. Chris Brown, Rihanna, Beyonce, Akon, Will.i.am, Kanye West and pretty much every single person.

    What a legend.

    RIP

The reason she's remained successful is because she plagiarized other artists' music and sound. If this is what is considered a musical success, then let's say it's a sad day for artists who not only write their own music, but don't feel the need to be a follower in order to stay relevant.

    Man that sounds easy.

We should all do what Madonna did and become superstars and a billionaire.

He paid tens of millions in silence money. He had an extremely unhealthy relationship with young boys. How many parents out there yesterday would have let there young boy stay in MJ's house unsupervised???

Well you seem to know it all, Cali should have called you as a witness, maybe you could have got them a conviction.

    Well I'm definitely sad tonight.

Forgetting about his child abuse accusations and his appeareance and lifestyle etc, you cannot deny that he is a musical legend.

Saw him in Cork in 88 (or was it 89) and it was a fantastic show.

Here is the legacy he leaves behind for me.

    Albums:

    Off The Wall
    Thriller
    Bad

    All three are classics.

His Thriller video was groundbreaking. First person to treat it as a movie production. I'll never forget RTE having the premier of that on MT USA with Vincent Hanley (Showing my age now).

His dance routines were spectacular...and who can forget the first time you saw him do a moonwalk.....even Fred Astaire said that he had at all.

Also his choreography in videos and shows were spectacular.

I'm sure people will add to this.

So lets just forget about his dark side, which was most likely caused by being so famous at a young age and mourn the passing of a great talent that really did change music and dance and realise that we will never see his like again.

    Man that sounds easy.

We should all do what Madonna did and become superstars and a billionaire.

It sounds easy because it isn't hard. She established herself in the 80s, used sex to further her career and then plagiarized other artists' music to remain successful. When you have enough money you can do pretty much anything.

Moving on, Michael Jackson will always remain the greatest artist to ever live. Regardless of what industry awards he has won throughout his 40+ year career, he's created music that is timeless and is still played in bars and clubs around the world to this day.

Man in the Mirror is on 2fm now, Imagining him those many years ago in a studio recording the song he spent weeks working on all for Charity gives me shivers, That voice will never again be recorded but believe me it will be heard for all eternity.

I agree on its own it is totally unfair but the fact he was in court twice along with the other dropped case following on from the infamous Bashir interview..
The general sleazy way he talks about kids in glowing loving terms in those interviews.. I could go on but I'll stop there.

I'm not going to convince MJ fans, MJ fans arn't going to convince the general public so I'll just stop there to be honest.

Bit of a stretch to suggest that Michael Jackson fans are the only ones who can accept that he was found innocent in a court of law, don't you think?

Musically, the man was legendary. Think about that word, and what it means. There are very few people who can ever claim to deserve that title.
