That rememberance service is some pretty cringeworthy stuff IMO.

When his daughter spoke I got a bit misty eyed, the rest was contrived to the max, It felt uncomfortable... I felt like Michael was about to burst through the doors soon...

Thats a common type of funeral over there, so its a tad unusal for us looking at it.

Personally think it was a great send off for Jackson, would be honoured.

There were many good moments also but it was very uncomfortable watching I thought. Really visceral TV.

Paris Jackson crying...well that was memorable.

    Poor kids.
Caught a glimpse of Blanket... No matter what people say ... that kid is his. He's a mini version of MJ.
Great send off for him. It was great to hear people who actually knew him say what they remembered about him.

    RIP MJ

It was very sad and a tad depressing. What that man is saying now about reaching out to others etc..will all be forgotten tomorrow

does anyone else think it was a bit disrespectful to have the child talk publicly at his send off when his whole life he tried to keep their identity hidden?

I was going to say that but felt that the thread was about Michael and his brilliance, as well as a platform for his fans to pay loving tribute.

    WE MISS YOU MICHAEL!!1!1!!!!

Damn I wish I had been there :*(

Not really, it seemed to me that she herself wanted to say something. She was taken off stage when she got too upset.

after they repeatedly told her to speak up and adjusted her mic..
just thought it was a bit distasteful imo.

tbh she didn't seem pushed. Janet and some other guy just told her to speak up because people couldn't hear her. Her brothers didn't speak, it seemed that she actually wanted to.

Not really. This would be the only time she could speak out about her father and I thought it was touching.

Nah, it looked like it was something that she wanted to do herself. And fair ****s to her, I got choked up along with her.
