How do you measure your weight loss?

My weight fluctuates by about half a stone during the day. How do you know what your real weight is? Do most people go by their lowest?
I think I'll start measuring my thighs instead, because they won't get bloated etc.

First thing in the morning after you have gone to the toilet in your underwear.

Try not to do it everyday.
Once a week is ideal imo, same time and circumstances each time you weigh.

For weight: Yeah I do first thing in the morning, three times a month, never the week of my period because I'm guarenteed to bloat and that time is emotional enough without the scales breaking :D

For measuring it in general though I take a photo in a bikini every week, if there's a week I've not lost much I can sometimes see it in my body tone though which is a great boost.

Measure it using the same scales first thing in the morning after your toilet stop and do not do it the week of your period - do it once a week. This may be stating the obvious, but weigh yourself naked. I weigh myself daily but that is because I have to ensure that I am not loosing weight.

In terms of seeing if you are getting bigger or smaller - a corset dress or a snug pair of jeans always works for me, or even my bra strap.

Definitely first thing in the morning, naked and after peeing. And I measure my waist in the narrowest spot, and sucked in. That way, any different is fat loss or gain, not the way I'm standing.
