Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well actually component (red green blue?) to hdmi - does anyone have any experience with these? Specifically this

I have a 19" bush hd tv, but it only has composite and hdmi inputs. At the moment i have my xbox hooked up through the composite (red white yellow?).

I have the xbox cable that has component and composite on it, so could i get a component to hdmi converter - would it give me significant picture gain over my current composite?

Personally I don't think that device which costs 40 pounds will work well in this. Wouldn't be better to use that money towards new console? sell your old one and get brand new one?

I know component -> hdmi isnt a big jump, but surely the composite -> component (/fake hdmi) will be a big leap?

No, for various reasons but no.

The other point i forgot to mention is that because it is now plugged in via composite, the cable slider is set to "tv" and not "hdtv", and same with settings on the xbox.

So what i guess im getting at is, will this (effictively component cable adapter) allow me to display on "hdtv" settings? My tv is 720p btw.
