Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm visiting China soon and would like to give my girlfriends mother a book with pictures of Ireland in it.
She doesn't speak English so am looking for one that's heavy on the photography.
Does anyone here have a recommendation for what to look for?

this one shows a slice of the real Ireland of today instead of a book of traditional landscapes and thatched colleges

I like the Book by Martin King for TV3 because the photos are by photographers from all over Ireland and cover every aspect from landscape to portraiture.

The text is mostly captions and names of the photographers.

If you are near Dublin go into Easons on O'Connell Street They generally have a good selection.
