Hello photographer people

Would like to invite you to submit photos for the Boards.ie blog at http://blog.boards.ie

I'd like to do two things really:

1. Build up a library of images that I can use for posts

and

2. Use a different photo (hopefully weekly) for the header photo.

The current one is



Size 760x120

and this is the header as it looks with the text, which is controlled by the Blog template



If you'd like to submit a version of one of your photos in this size that would work as a header and the full photo too, I'd really appreciate it.

Full credit will be given, copyright remains your own etc. etc

Here seems to work for people. Re images - I'm not choosy but if it was relating to Boards, to Ireland, to a Boards event (i.e taken on a Boards photowalk) and all that kind of thing, so much the better. It's a community blog, I like maintaining that feel.

This is the header as it looks with the text



So that should give you an idea of how it works.

Quick question, am I right in assuming that the text is fixed in black (and on the left hand side of the header) and doesn't change depending on the image used?

Just asking as there are obvious legibility issues otherwise.

Yep, that's exactly it - it's controlled by the wordpress template we're using!
