Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What Filter for a Canon 24-70 2.8f L lens would you recommend for my new lens?

I have a friends wedding on next weekend and now that Ive the lens, I might as well get a filter for it, to prevent (a) the lens getting scrathed and (b) anything that will help improve my photos, should be worth spending a few yo yo's!

77mm UV filter for protection and a 77mm circular polarising filter for sun/glare.

I use Hoya Pro-1 UV filters for my lenses.

I have so far only UV and it was worth it. Lens got soaked with rain and mud, was laid into the sand in the horse jumping arena and was used as finger print sampler.

The lens has a tendency to vignette on 24 mm when full open even without filter, so don't be afraid too much.
