Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Honestly, you need to save up more. Spending 200-300 is either going to get something that will break your heart or something that is older than you. 500 euro or so would be enough to get yourself a drivable second hand scooter. The big companies like honda, suzuki, Yahmaha are more reliable, that is where you should start looking.

    Wrong section btw :pac:

There is a lot of sections, its happened to us all at least once :p

I'm sure a kind motors mod will move this over to the motorbikes section in the morning where there will be more people reading who would specialise in motorbikes/scooters for more in depth advice.

Edit- i should have known motors mods don't sleep :pac:

Being a former scooter owner of 5 years and having a whole lot of buddies who use them. A scooter for 200-300 is a bad bad idea (unless somebody is giving you a new bike at that price). 500+ mate so it wont end with an empty bank or worse, with you in hospital.

I know its more than you wanted to pay but it's in mint condition. Practically new and won't give you and trouble at all. Costs practically nothing to run...

If you only spend 200- 300 youll probably be throwing your money away. Any scooter of that price will absolutely need more money spending on it. Or be a death trap. Wait, and pay more when you can afford it. Oh, and price your insurance too, which could be more than your hoping to pay for the bike.

Hi Niamh06, just so you know, we don't allow advertising in-thread.

If you want to sell your scooter, you'd do worse than to set up an ad on adverts.ie!

Put a link to it in your sig too, then everytime you post, people will see it.

Sorry bout that. Didn't realise there was no advertising. Won't happen again! Thanks for the advice though.

There are definitely options out there, just gotta try find them, which rarely happens to be online..

The Buy & Sell could help you find something in that range.

Commuted on mine daily, just want something bigger now that I can get quoted..
