    Hi,
Coming up to the Big Smoke for The Eagles concert this Thurs. (RDS).

We'd like to treat ourselves to a nice meal beforehand.
    Any suggestions for somewhere special?

If you like Thai food, Baan Thai - above the Sony Centre near Paddy Cullen's pub - is lovely. And it's right across the road from the RDS

In and around St Stephen's Green:
Town Bar and Grill do a pre-theatre menu http://www.townbarandgrill.com/
One Pico's good and does a set dinner for just under E40 for three courses but that might be a bit much http://www.onepico.com/menu.htm Also, while it's jammers for lunch it can be dead in the evenings.
Peploes can be relatively cheap if you order within reason: http://www.peploes.com/
http://www.ilpostorestaurant.com/early_bird.php Il Posto's grand and does two courses for E20

Le Mere Zou do a good early bird for less than €30.

Baan Thai in Ballsbridge as mentioned above, is lovely. Small, dark, pokey, but probably the best Thai food in Dublin.

    Hi again,
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Pity we won't be around for a bit longer to try all of your places!
