Famous people who are actually sound!

In All Fairness

Seems to be a fair few threads about arse*hole celebs but are there a few decent ones? Adam Clayton is a nice guy and Terry Phelan (ex-Irish soccer player) is an absolute gent. Anyone met any other sound celebs?

No, I just met them in situations where there was no need for them to be polite to me, and they were not only polite but sound. Especially Terry Phelan who bought me a pint even though I had accidentally weed on his foot in the gents at the urinal.

I'll second that. Knew him as a teenager, lovely guy, haven't seen him in a while though.

I played golf in Dungarvan a few years ago, and Packie Bonner was in a group ahead of me. Met him in the bar afterwards and chatted briefly with him. An absolute gentleman. Very humble.

I met Ronnie Wood in a pub in Kildare not so long ago, he was faily sound.. I have a cool pic of me and him on my old mobile.. can't figure out how to download it onto the pc tho very friendly bloke anyway..

Chatted to Paul O'Connell briefly in Eddie Rockets in Limerick. He was with his girlfriend. Chatted away no bother, very open guy, no heirs and graces. His cousins are my neighbours and they're salt of the earth so its not suprising he's a sound guy.

alec ferguson dead sound ,the locals have a good time for him

rodney steward pure tea bag i was bringing him to the airport once
he noticed a gang of kids kicking a football in a park

stop let me out and you have to play in goal he said to me

i gave the ball a good kick and it got rodney at the back of his chicken legs, he was grumpy i had to buy a bag of frozen peas in asda for him
