Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I've recently jumped into the world of photography and all - just got my first "real" camera last week, a Canon 1000D. Had my first practice with it at the Grand Prix of Race Walking in the Phoenix Park yesterday. Fairly handy event to practice on as the race I was there for was 20km up and back along a 1km stretch of road.

    Reading up on the ins and outs of this photography lark and still very confused!!. I'm definitely deleting far more pictures than I'm keeping. Been lurking around here for the past few months, thought I'd say hello!

    Hey guys, welcome aboard here.

    You may find if you post the images inline rather than a link then you may get a bit of reaction - we all tend to be lazy and don't always click the links and if we do, then it's unlikely we will follow it up ;)

    Posting inline gives you something like;

    3668226096_d7d1d13582.jpg

    or from the second poster;

    3668143617_13915ddccb.jpg

    but limit to but a few images.

    It also can help if you specify if there is something in particular that you are interested in finding out about your image.

    Don't forget the random thread. It's a great place to show off your developing abilities.

    Good luck
