Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,
Two sets of parents will be visiting in a few weeks, and we are looking to bring them out for sunday lunch/dinner. Something fairly informal around lunchtime, but a bit above carvery.
    Any recommendations?
    Thanks a lot.

in and around Lucan your probably looking at Finnstown House or maybe the restaurant in the Spa, these will all set you back about €30 for 3 course lunch.

If your willing to go a little further to Leixlip then Becketts is nice as is and Leixlip House these will also set you back about €30 for 3 course lunch.

Liffeyvalley House is also nice in Leixlip, you sit in the restaurant but get food from the carvery served in the bar, it also has nice grounds, also a little cheaper than the others

A bit above carvery? Then Becketts in Leixlip (just outside Lucan) is a good place to go to. Ring them and book a table first! I'll definitely second Becketts, anytime I've been there I've had a god meal!
