Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Concert C&C

Went to see Nine Inch Nails in Prague, wasn't gonna be let in with a G9 and would've missed any decent photos, but luckily I think the staff took pity on me due to my Irish accent.

Got up front so couldn't move (sardines), noise on the G9 is terrible in low light above ISO 200, so I had to take most shots at 2.8 which made them soft. I was surprised with the results after PP though.

    C&C?

Brilliant set of a Brilliant Band. Numbers 1 and 4 stand out for me. I'd say it was a great gig, I was at a gig in Prague a few years ago and those Czechs are mental!

    Love the first one.

    How was the gig?

Yeah 1 is excellent and 4 close behind.

These nine Inch Nails(who?) like a lt of backlighting which makes life for the photographer in the crowd even more difficult.

    Good work under the conditions.

Gig was absolutely amazing, only down side is that I spent most of it trying to get the best shots I could. But I'm heading to the dam to see them without any camera :)

Other concerts with similar lighting just didn't work with the G9. It was a learning curve for me, which helped me get some good shots. I'm really happy that I got a few decent ones. Thanks.

I pretty much gave up on the G9 after about 3 or 4 dark concerts, I had to limit myself to ISO 200 and 1/60 and try my best. Plus, RAW and PP really made these shots.

I've seen NIN a few times now, this was the best performance so far, they've really come a long way. Where are you seeing them?

You've done pretty well up there anyways, RAW & PP included.

Catching them at Oxegen. They're in for an hour and a half long slot afaik, so that should be good. Still not sure what gear I'm bringing along with me though.

Being able to combine two things you love shouldn't have too big a down side!
