    Gotta get a new satnav this week.

    These 2 fit my budget and needs but which to buy?
    what best for maps, updating,etc

    Becker Assist Z098 (€150)

    -versus-

    Garmin Nuvi 255W (€175)

    Go for the Garmin. They offer updates. Becker seem to issue the devices and then move on to a newer one.

    I bought the Garmin 255W, and its perfect. Was on the continent with it and it never missed a beat.Thumps up for anyone seeking a GPS.
