Started up my first tropical aquarium number of weeks ago, all is going wellish. I placed a piece of bogwood in the tank at the beginning after i had steeped and cleaned it several times. Approx two months on now the water is still running a yellow colour, doing water changes as normal and all fish seem healthy.

Does anyone know if this is going to be an ongoing issue or will the tannin in the wood eventually stop turning the water colour yellowish? Advice appreciated, thanx :D
