Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem with Flash Video (Youtube et al) not buffering correctly

When watching youtube videos (or any flash videos) the player is only loading about 1 minute of video and then just stalling. It works fine if I drag the slider forward a bit but it's very frustrating obviously!

It's happening in IE, firefox and Chrome so it doesn't seem to be browser specific. I've uninstalled flash player and reinstalled it to no avail.

    Any other suggestions?

I wonder is your broadband provider throttling you're youtube. Have you
    a) tried another PC on the same broadband connection
    and
    b) rebooted the router..
That would be the first two preliminary things I would try.

Tried both of the above. Yes the same problem is occuring on a different computer. That would seem to indicate that my connection is being throttled. Is that a common thing? It's a very recent development.

I'm with UPC in Dublin 1 on the 3mb "Value" package.
