Sims 3 - Speeding up in game time

    In the Sims 3, there are 4 in game speeds.

    However, they are very similar i.e they don't make much difference to the game speed.

    I am sick of watching my Sim sleep for 5 minutes.

    Anyone else experience this?

    Have you updated your game? They recently increased the speed with an update.

    there are 3 game speeds, the last button is to advance time through whatever task they are currently doing, so you dont leave it on fastforward and forget about it, once they end the current task it goes back to regular play speed.
