Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

Have nikon D60 and a 18-55 DX VR lens,

Well, I've managed to drop the bugger, and now the lens mount on the lens itself has broken. Done a bit of research and its the Bayonet lens mount that has broken.

I'm heading away this thurs for 3 months so I need this fixed...FAST!

Anywhere I can get it fixed or get the part? (Based in cork..but can travel!)

Cheers in advance for your help!

    Damo

Try Declan in Dublin Camera Repairs -- worth a ring -- does quality work , nothing I have thrown at them over the years is beyond them. he'll give you a straight answer over the phone as to how possible it is.

I recently took apart a canon 50mm FD f/1.4 lens ( as you do when you think you know something about cameras) and could not get it back together and a minature ball bearing fell out and disappeared into the floorboards! I took the pieces to him and it's good as new.

086 6684400 is his mobile , either him or Alan his partner in repairs are the best in town in my opinion.
