    Are theese any good for trout fishing on the fly? are they stocked?

    Yes on all questions.
    The Dodder is stocked before the beginning of the fishing season.
    The Dodder also has a wild stock of smaller trout which provides sustained fishing during the season after all the stockies are long gone.
    Blessington is restocked periodically during the season.

    Used to be stocked with browns. Now AFAIK it's stocked with rainbows.
    If you happen to catch browns they will be wild, limited in their ability to replace losses, it would be better if they are returned.
    Wild browns in Blessington can grow big if they are allowed to:

    Thank you, i was at a wedding in the Avon Ri hotel the weekend and i saw on the activities that you can rent fishing boats so might take one out for a day, do a bit of fly and maybe troll a bit too.,
