Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey Folks,

I downloaded OS3.0 for my iPod touch last night. When I went to install it iTunes told me I needed the latest version of itself. I downloaded the latest version from Apple but now when I try and load up iTunes I get the error below:

The iTunes application could not be opened. A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall QuickTime. (-42404)

I've googled it, read the Apple forums and it seems no-one has a straight answer to the issue. Some say the latest versions of iTunes an QuickTime are needed, I have those. It's looking like I might have to reinstall Vista which I had hoped to avoid.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, uninstall and reinstall iTunes and Quicktime, restarting the computer in between.
