Afternoon,

Firstly this is my first time writing here, have been a keen reader over the last year or that.

Was recently fishing off the pier in Kilmore Quay, when I was approached by a local man, asking me do I need a License. I wasn't sure.

So do you need a License for sea Fishing??

Anyways, caught a few wrasse, and what looking like small whiting...

No you dont need a licence, fish away and keep catching .

Ill be down your way at the weekend, charted a boat for the day.

Only for salmon so it seems. I've never heard of anyone being done for not having a license anyway.
