Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hello guys,

i'm getting a 2002 bmw 318ci coupe and thinking about putting a new exhaust on it, i don't want something too loud or obnoxious just something which would produce a more sporty type of sound, nothing too big, loud or obnoxious like something on the back of a boy racer car, nor something cheap from argos or the likes.

So can anyone recommend what type of exhaust i should get for 2002 bmw 318ci coupe, and where i should go to buy or get it fitted,

    thanks:)

Do yourself a favour and pocket the cash. Put it towards something else for your car, it's a needless waste of cash with nothing gained and the refinement of the car lost.

If you buy another BM down the road, go for a 6-pot and there will be no need for an exhaust :) Enjoy the car!

bmw payed some engineer serious cash to design that exhaust for your car
personaly i'd leave well enough alone
if they thought a more sporty exhaust would be better they would have had one on it from the factory

It might be better getting yourself to a Bmw owners club and asking there, they will know what works and what doesn't.

If you go changing the back box you wont know what kind of noise there gonna get of the back, you'd be better getting advice from bmw owners and possibly look into a full system instead of just a back box

AC car sales should be able to sort you out with both supply and fitting.

You should also check out BMW-driver.net for advice and tips with regards to which brand of exhaust you should buy. Its and Iirsh BMW site.
