Hi all, downloaded the demo for fl studio yesterday, first time to try production well sounded more like some sounds thrown together, so just wondering where is the cheapest place to buy from and what version should I go for seems there is a producer version, xxl version and few more, could see myself gettin stuck in so…

Cool - It's been a few years since I've used it.. but I'd say get the Producer one. Looks to have pretty much all of the features of XXL (apart from all/some of the synths) & you can record Audio into it.

From the FL w/site:

DL for XXL from FL is about €211
DL for Producer is around €142.
DL for Fruity Edition is €70-ish (cannot record audio)

I personally always buy Boxes if I can. They always have a manual of sorts. I never put any value on something if I've just downloaded it.. especially if its €€€'s!

I know you can get free updates for life with FL - so just check with the Seller that this is still the case (its probably once you register on the site.. but double check if you are thinking of buying)

EDIT - Free Updates are only available if you Buy & DL from the FL w.site only.

If you are going to take it half seriously Man.. Definitely take some time to think about getting a soundcard / monitors & a midi Keyboard (& maybe a cheap Mic too..).

You dont have to get the most expensive ones.. but you will need to decide a budget for them. It makes the world of difference when you've got a few tools to do the job.

The Lads here would definitely make some recommendations if you wanted any help choosing stuff.
