    hope im in the right place, can anyone tell me the cheapest place to buy microsoft..also how long dose it last for?

    Well, Komplett.ie sell various versions of it, not sure if prices vary much from one vendor to the next. If you're a student/teacher, you can get it a good deal cheaper, otherwise the full versions can be fairly expensive.

    If you can't afford it, something free like OpenOffice.org or Google Docs might suffice as an alternative.

    Edit; re how long the license lasts - indefinitely, as far as I'm aware.
