    Fair day here so far. There was a nearby shower further southeast over the local village of Caherconlish around 11:30AM.

    Currently in Annascaul on the Dingle peninsula. Amazing day. Periods of cloud and threatening to rain and then . . . the sun came out. Temp indicator in the car said 21c

    So . . . off we headed to Minard Strand for three hours on the beach. I even went in swimming. For the record, the sea was freezin !

    Dry and cool here now. Off to the South Pole for a pint shortly :cool:

    So far we had a dry but a mostly cloudy day. ATM there is a shower hanging in the south west threatning us for the past couple of hours.

    Well, if the vessel you are using to measure the rainfall is of an equal width the whole way from its base to its top then I'd imagine you should just be able to measure the height of the liquid in the vessel.

    Very loud Thunder here in Galway in the past hour with another Storm coming in from the South, wind gusted to 60 mph during the past shower.
