Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't get quoted on anythin above 1.4 litres. Is there much of a difference in runnin cost between lets say a 1.1 or 1.2 and 1.4?

Open to ideas for what to get, anythin thats looks half decent, aint too old but most importanly is cheap to run. Only really been lookin on Car Zone

There is not a vast difference in running any of these cars to be honest but it really depends on the car.

Eg. A Fiesta with a 1.4 litre engine will be nipper and lighter on fuel than say a bigger like a Focus with the same engine.

So my recommendation would be the Fiesta 1.25 litre, nippy, reliable, relatively cheap to service and will not rob you at the pump.

    Cheers for that.

I've been lookin at VW Golfs 1.4 litre, how are they for running costs

as has been said... if your going for small engine, try go for a small car too. VW spares and main dealer servicing costs are not cheap.
