Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hello,

i have 5 penalty points, and tryed to get a quote on 123.ie but it wouldnt quote me as under the assumptions it says no more than 4 points, so i tried it with 4 and they gave me a quote, i rang up for a quote and when he asked about points he said "SORRY, computer wont accept more than 4 points", this is frustrating as they were giving me a good quote with 4, so would they really refuse a policy for having one extra point, Anyone know, anyone have experience when it comes to 123.ie and their penalty points policy?

    thanks:)

As far as I know 123.ie only use one car insurance company, unlike most other brokers. This one insurance company would be the ones imposing these restrictions and 123.ie wouldn't have much choice in the matter.

Try chill.ie, they're crap to get on the phone but they apparently have good rates.

Anything above 4 points makes Insurers edgy.

With 5 points I would forget about online quotes. Online quotes are not designed for anything out of the ordinary. You are better off ringing insurance companies or brokers directly.
