I really haven’t noticed if this is just a philosophy forum thing, or if other forums have such little space devoted to them. I have been writing in one or two topics there recently, and it just occurred to me that I’m really not that bothered if it’s just going to vanish in two months time. Any chance we could get a little more space?

The threads are still there, you just can't see them. Go to (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/profile.php?do=editoptions) and find "default thread age cut off age" and change it to "Show all threads".

That will show you all the threads in every forum.

Oh thank hell that was something so simple, cos the idea of a philosophy feedback thread made me blood run cold.

If he believed it did does that mean it actually did - is belief reality?

Is the thread actually there at all? Or is it just a figment of our collective imaginations?

EDIT - No - it is there I checked.

So it was there when you checked - that does not mean it still is :pac:

The thread both exists, and does not exist.

    It's all about perspective.

If this thread fell in a woods with no one around to hear, would the trees laugh?

It's all wrong in the first place.

It's not right to confine a thread's existence to a single forum. It should be free to roam and go wherever it wants, wherever it needs.

If the thread wasn't retained for longer in philosophy does
that mean no one posted in it?

    1. The post is everything that's in the post.

    2. The cheque is also in the post.

    3. Profit.
