Cant connect to game server.

    Hey,

    Im hoping you guys can help me out here.
    A mate of mine is having trouble connecting to an online game server. (warcraft)

    The errors he gets are "Unable to contact the login server"

    I am able to connect perfectly to the game and several other mates are aswell.
    We are all on eircom and my mate that cant connect is on vodafone.

    I had him turn off all firewalls and anti-virus and try again.
    He still cant connect.

    He tried to connect from both his pc and laptop to rule out a problem with his machine. Neither could connect.

    He contact vodafone and they claimed they do not block any ports etc... and told him it must be a problem with the game and ended the call at that.

    Have you guys any ideas of what to try next?
    Any programs i could maybe run to monitor the net traffic on his machine to see exactly where the connection to the game is failing or being blocked?
