Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

peugeot 206 cyl head gasket 2006

My cousin has just been told that the cylinder head gasket is gone in her 2006 peugeot 206.:eek::eek: She was quoted by a main dealer were she bought the car 1100 euro to do it.Would this price be good or bad.What would cause the gasket to go, since the car is only 3 year old.She had no probs with the car before, nothing…

bad price. should get a head gasket, water pump and timing belt for around 700

Seems quite high alright. If you're anywhere nearby, I'd highly recommend George Frayne in Naas, he's an independent Peugeot / Citroen specialist. He's in the phone book, would probably be worth giving him a ring and getting a price on it.
