Whats it like as student in your early 30's?

Am considering returning after an 8 year gap for a Masters, will be 31 by then. Is there anyone here who was both a mature and non-mature student, who can give an insight into the differences? I'm excited about a return, even though I am liable for fees, but it will no doubt be different. I'd appreciate any insight! Thanks…
