Can't say I've ever heard of them being lumped in with BFMV, or anything emo at all. If anything, I'd say CoB would be closer to the melodic death metal scene, along with bands like In Flames and Arch Enemy.
Yes but the profile of their fans would probably show that the y are more emo kids than death metal fans.. I like in Flames but i wouldnt be a fan of COB tbh

Back on topic :D I agree - down from the sky is a great song from a great album

I disagree. Can't be bothered to say way though! :P

But at the same time the likes of CoB, In Flames and other big name melodic death bands are getting a lot more popular and more mainstream. It's only natural that they're going to have a larger and more diverse fanbase.

Anyway, was Down From the Sky the first single from Shogun? I remember liking the first one.

Is that really the case though? I mean, I like CoB, I've seen them live and I can't say I've seen any emo crowd. Saw them play the Bloodstock festival, and they've played Wacken a number of times. Hardly playing to emo audiences there.

Even i admit that track is pretty sick. Deffinatly there best work. Borrowed shogun after hearing it but the rest of the album unfortunatly dissapointed.

Last video not working or is it just me?

I loved Ascendancy and I really liked The Crusade, then just lost all interest in the band.

Saw them live three times, they can certainly play a good show.

The best trivium song? The ascendancy album was good. Then it just went downhill imo. Album adter that seemd really....childish. I guess ascendancy does kinda too.

Also, the guy can sing. Very well infact, stop shouting!!!

Just my 2 cents, done kill me for it

Youd be surprised the amount of people whod genuinly think that was a trivium song...ive already had to correct 2 people on that before believe it or not.

I think its better when he does the weird sing/growl mix thats on shogun and to a lesser extent ascendancy. The crusade is mostly clean vocals and it isnt their best work to say the least.
