    yeah i love it. i had to watch it through twice though as the plot can get very confusing!

    i liked it a lot; love the style of drawing too.

    rena's character is brilliant too, really amibiguous and i love the way she speaks in it, ".......kana, kana..."

    have to watch higurashi no naku koro ni kai now.

    3rd season? O.o Why? I thought the second season explained everything and wrapped it up nicely ... *goes and looks up sites* Ah right! It's a 5 episode OVA that follows after the 2nd season o.o Ok didn't know about this. Also there seems to be a live action movie of it o.o

    Anyway fantastic anime! =) You find out how all the various stories in season 1 tie together in season 2 so dont worry if you get a bit confused.

    I love that cutesy style animation that suddenly turns into something much more sinister ^^ Works so well. I recommend to all ^^

    Yeah, the first set of VNs were kind of to start up the mystery, then Kai was meant to be the "answers". I think the Rei games were extras included on the PS2 version of the game or something like that.

    Watching the anime at the moment since the VN isn't translated(mostly because I'm a Touhou fan and the two creators are bros). Interesting stuff.
