I'm working in the electrical/security ind. Have been informed that I am going to have to be on call every second weekend, not too pleased about this , and am unsure what the law is on pay rates for this. I've been told that I'm entitled to a min of 25% my normal wage per hour for just being on call and then time and a half per hour that I'm actually working. Anyone know what the norm is?
    Appreciate any info.

Well residential managers in the HSE are on call every evening, every night and every weekend and are paid the amazing sum of...............€0.00.......On the plus side, its tax free.
