Iknow its a long shot but though I;d ive it a go.

Honestly an EBB is gonna put him off. An AEP will fit that budget, but I would really stringly suggest spending that little bit more and getting something skirmishable.

If he does want an AEP,
    http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=42
    http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=903
http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1485 (I'd go with this if any)

    Thats $35
    +$49 for 5 Day TNT
    _________
    =$84 or €60.42

There is then the possibility of VAT and Duty at around 25% inc shipping, but a small order is more likely to be missed by customs, they seem to only bother with bigger stuff.

You could add another mag+batt to make shimpping more economical, but increase the risk of a VAT hit.

Try and convince him to get an AEG.

Thanks for the info, I'm always amazed at how quick the respones here are and all the advice given.

He's willing to go up to about 150 now for an AEG that'll get the job done,if you guys have any ideas that'd be great,
    cheers

If he is going to spend a bit more, then my advice is buy from an irish retailer
you get the benefit of freindly advice and service plus a chance to handle and see if you like the feel of it plus a guarantee
feel is a very personal thing, what one person likes another does not
there is also the chance to pick up a secondhand bargain in the adverts section here and they often have extras with them mags batteries etc
if he is going to skermish keep a few euros back for eye protection

ok if he eve wants a decent aep he has to spend a bit more than that but i recommend looking at these websites that ship to ireland

airsoft world(UK)u get ur order in 48 hours and shipping is only 20 pounds no matter what u order

airsoft global(USA)they give cheap but good products

main irish airsoft(eire)they might be a bit pricy but shipping inside ireland is free

se airsoft(eire)south east airsoft is good for people who live around the south east and its a walk in showroom so u can pick up your product

if these websites dont help you, none will the rest are crap except for one or two i forgot.tokyo mauri is the best in the world but doesnt ship to ireland.hope this helps:D

Id give Eirsoft a ring before you go in. Last time I went in they said they only had 4 guns in the entire shop and that was only a week or two ago. The have a delayed shipment I think. They still have accessories and bits.

They have a supply chain, and as we are so small at the end of the chain accross europe its hard to keep up with the demand. If you choose something call tony and he'll be able to give you a guess when it'll be in. If you order it online then as soon as it arrives and is tested it'll be on its way to you:)
