Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A brillo pad has always worked for me I have to say .. maybe you need some more "elbow grease" :D.

You could try some normal oven cleaner on it, and also in order to make it easier to clean, you can usually remove the inner glass, usually just a few screws hold it in. Just make sure you put it back in the right way around, it's usually marked "this side facing inwards" or something like that.

As an alternative, if the oven and cooker in general are really bad, then there are specialised companies out there who'll come in and give it an industrial strength clean. Our neighbour had it done a while back and was quite impressed by the results. Once it's nice and clean it's relatively easy to keep clean, that's the idea anyway.

No problem .. you may have to do this anyway. Sometimes when they get really, really manky, some of the brown gunk drips down behind the back of the glass, so you can only get to it by removing the glass.

    Good luck!

I had the same problem and used one of these with warm soapy water! After I had finished it looked like a new door!

There is a razor blade in the scraper but it didnt scrape the glass or mark it at all!
