Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hey there, does anyone know if you can go into one of the aa offices(cork or dublin) and get your international permit on the spot? I'm going to states on wednesday and my brothers insurance company won't let me drive his car unless I have one.

I spent 15 minutes on hold and gave up, that hold-please music drove me nuts

    cheers

Its been years since I got one but you certainly could walk in before and get one. You do need a passport photo also for it.

BTW generally international licences are not required for the US as the primary purpose is as a certified translation of your native licence. Given that Irish Licences are in English (and Irish) they are acceptable in the US. That being said my experience has been with hire car companies and not individual private US insurance policies so you may need it for that!
