May look into running a regular Sunday deepstack.... thoughts?

We had 26 Runners for this today.

made a few changes to the structure at the start, 15k instead of 10k chips and added the following levels

    125-250
    250-500 (50 Ante)
    1200 -2400 (200 Ante)
    2500-5000 (500 Ante)

Everyone played thought the structure was great, I'm going to play around with it a little bit over the next few weeks. Might start at 3pm and use the same structure as WSOP main event with 30k chips and 20 Mins.

    Back to results:

3 Way chop done at the 2500-5000 (500) level with the average stack 130k
    with Kenneth Ralph on 290K

1st Kenneth Ralph €800 as he already has a ticket for the Waterford Masters
2nd Paul Quinn €100 plus Ticket
3rd Stephen Barrett €100 Plus Ticket
    4th Sadie O'Reilly €180
    5th Oisin O'Neill €130

couldnt make it yesterday..good turn out!will try get down next Sunday!also is there a cash alternative?might not get to Waterford(joys of having a baby :pac:)

i like the idea of a regular deepstack game, might attract more players from different clubs etc..hope its a success..just wondering how deep could you make a 1 day game?would the play get crapshooty towards the end or could there be a problem with regards to time?

The last 1 day 20k stack game run in the Grand Hotel wasn't particularly "crap shooty" at all. Even at the final table there was lots of play.

Really good game yesterday, loads of play all the way through including the final table given the very good strucutre and additional blind levels added. Would be good if a regular game could develop along these lines.

    Hi Carl,

    The structure yesterday was

    15k Chips
    20 Mins

    25-50
    50-100
    75-150
    100-200
    125-250
    150-300 (25)
    200-400 (25)
    250-500 (50)
    300-600 (50)
    400-800 (75)
    500-1000 (100)
    600-1200 (100)
    800-1600 (100)
    1000-2000 (200)
    1200-2400 (200)
    1500-3000 (300)
    2000-4000 (400)
2500-5000 (500) fairly certain the game ended at this level

    Levels after this would be

    3000-6000 (500)
    4000-8000 (500)
    5000-10000 (1000)
    6000-12000 (1000)
    8000-16000 (1000)
    10000-20000 (2000)
    12000-24000 (2000)
    15000-30000 (3000)

The ave stack to BB was between the 40-60 mark for most of the day.

We only 26 runners yesterday so time was never going to be an issue which is why I tried the extra levels.

If this game got a regular 60 players I'd say thats about the most it would get I might have a problem towards the end of the night.

I will start the game at the earlier time of 3pm instead of 4pm, I don't want to mess around with the structure as having planned it myself yesterday I think it was a nice game.

Should time become an issue I only really have 3 options

1: Lower starting stack or cut levels out (last option really)

2: Equity Spilt at the end of the night.

3: Come back on Monday night in the Kestrel to finish the game if all players are agreed.

I may try this Sundays game with the WSOP structure and 30k chips.

    We'll see how it develops

sounds like it was a good game..just if you did have to lessen starting stacks/reduce the time of levels/cutout levels etc it wouldnt be a deepstack really..i personally would love to play a regular deepstack game!the idea of bringing back the FT on a Monday is a good one but probably not practical, running 2 tournies at once..maybe missing out on a few regulars from the kestral game as they could be playing the other game..people might not be able to make Monday night etc but then again bigger crowd on a monday night,if the place was full could encourage them to come back more or spread the word, lotsa side games etc..

To be honest It wouldn't be to much of a problem to run 2 tournies in the kestrel on the Monday night as it would only be the final table coming back from the Sunday.

yea but 2 clocks, might have to use different chips etc!
bringing it back would be best in my opinion..sure i dont even see many final tables(50% donk 50% luckbox) maybe a bad structure or bingo would suit me better!anyway ill talk to u later 2nite

    Hi All,

We will be running this game again on Sunday but with a change to the structure.

We will be using the WSOP ME structure with 30k starting chips and 20 Mins, blinds starting at 50-100.

Players will get the full starting stack in the 1st level
    29k in the 2nd level
    28k in the 3rd & 4th Level
    27k in the 5th & 6th Level

I'm expecting close to 40 for this weeks game

    Hi Mike,

Depending on which direction they are coming from:

    1. N7 (Naas Rd) - Take a right at Newlands Cross onto the Belgard Rd. Straight down Belgard Rd through all junctions and roundabouts. At the end take a left onto the Tallaght Bypass. Take next left at lights into Tallaght village. Take a right at the next lights (AIB bank). Straight down into carpark.

    2. M50 - Take junction 11 for Tallaght N81. At roundabout take 1st exit for N81 Tallaght Bypass. Straight at small roundabout. At the 3rd set of lights take a right into Tallaght village. Take a right at the next lights (AIB bank). Straight down into carpark.
