Lay ceramic tiles over acoustic mat

Hey all, Can you lay ceramic tiles on top of cork acoustic matting? Or is it better to remove matting and place adhesive directly to the concrete floor? Thanks R

Not sure about cork matting, but the Schluter stuff is adhesive/matting/adhesive/tile.
