3 broadband in Lahinch?

Hey! Anyone know if the 3 broadband USB modem will work in Lahinch, Co. Clare? Also, I have the USB modem. I cancelled my contract with them. Can i use the same modem but on pre-pay instead of pay monthly? Thanks in advance!

Depending on the modem, it could possibly be unlocked and used with a pay and go sim as 3g, usually more expensive but it works. I'm trying to do this with an o2 ireland sim but having issues connecting, altho my uk sim works fine.
What model modem do you have?
