Three aren't giving Software Upgrade for C905

Hi, there is a software upgrade out for the C905 but Three are not rolling it out. I phoned them up and they say that they have not tested it and it might interfere with their own software. If I debranded my phone would I lose all my existing three features like free Skype, Planet 3 etc?
