How Cheap are Aldi really?

Looking to save on grocery bills..... Always thought Aldi was the cheapest, but people are saying Dunnes and tesco are as cheap on their own label. Anyone know for sure?

tesco have brot the prices down quite a bit and so have dunnes of late.....im not that into Aldi.....i just don't think tere's enough variety....i tend to go between tesco and dunnes.....im lucky enough to be close to the border so pop over to asda when i can.....although i will say their prices have been creeping up....check their websites
