Changed it again! Suggestions? I recon bent will have a good season with sunderland, he's a quality striker. And I think zola will play jimenez in a more advanced postion as he is very attack minded

No your wrong, just because they are the most expensive does not mean they provide the most value. For example the highest scoring forward last season was Anelka with 179 points and he costs 10.5 million the highest scoring defender was vidic with 187 points and he costs 8.0million.

I think defenders and midfielders have consistently proven to offer the most value over the last few years in this Fantasy football game

Oh, i agree. Just forwards used to cost a minimum of around 5million and defenders and midfielders costs a minimum of 3.5-4.0 million so it made sense to have a crap defender to make up numbers in your squad rather than a crap forward costing 5 mill . This seems to have changed and the minimum prices for forwards midfield and defence are fairly similar now.

I think Arshavin will do well, so will swap him in for Gerrard/Lamps after 2 weeks, and will spend the extra on defence, which is possibly a bit weak.

I know what your saying now but I dont think having to pick 3 fowards on your first team and saving a few million will outweigh the benefits of picking more defenders and midfielders

I'm really liking Bassong at 5.0. I bought him for the time being, and if I keep him I'll bench him for GW1 (Liverpool). Then hopefully he'll come good after the suspension.

Spurs have a **** load of injuries and "doubts" in defense too.

Im always wary of spending big on defenders. Spend modestly on defenders who will play and have five defenders who you can rotate according to favourable fixtures. Free up money for a big scoring midfield

also why choose Jensen as a sub keeper?

hmm yeah think ill switch to 442 with two-three expensive defenders and two good ones on cheap from weaker sides so i can make my midfield stronger cuz i aint happy with the midfield at all, and midfield seems more important than upfront never played this thing before so im just assuming lol

i choose jensen as my sub cuz he preformed really well in the championship last season
