First winner (with CRANE) had to shout to correct her - can't remember what she thought it was, but it wasn't 9 points. But the caller persevered

    Discussion of the puzzles only.

No allegations of dishonesty of the show or abuse of the presenters. Breaching this rule will be an instant TV Cat ban.

I hope that I have made myself clear.

    The hypocrisy of the rule!

SCAMS also for 11 if letters can be used twice

    Proof of Laurens dodgy hearing

how does LANE become MEAN, even when spelt out

    The hypocrisy of the rule!

The problem here is that writing a word that differs from the caller's attempt has a material effect on the outcome of the call. And it does seem to happen more when Lauren is on.

    4 examples tonight.

lads this is fecking taking the piss now.

i really think somebody (bond-007) should record an entire episode of this joke and send it to the BCC and let them see for themselves whats really going on.

theres no telling if anybody at the BCC actually saw an episode or not so evidence would most likely be the way forward and then show to TV3 and start all the questions and fines.

current amount of callers calling in right now = live.php

EDIT: found 17 but its not really a word but MARCELS

Lauren: I know this is difficult, but surely there is ONE person out there who can solve this...

Here are the call rates for about the last hour - lots of high numbers in there:

FIXED: Now in chronological order. Represents minute-by-minute calls from 00:32 to 1:31am.

Have Meteor blocked access to this officially? I keep seeing the scrolling banner saying you need to call them to unbar the number.

Its automatically blocked by Meteor in their head office or what ever but every phone you buy from meteor have PlayTV's number blocked automatically,

you have to ring meteor to ask them to let you call it.

    Think that's 18 points

    Edit

Don't want to hear complaints? You're not letting people on ffs Lauren!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 286 ✭✭enigmatiq

This game, since it went to 17 points, is surely one of the most blatant examples of misleading prattle that we have seen.

How is it fair and reasonable to continually imply that there is no one able to solve this 'difficult game', when the call rates indicate consistently high numbers of callers trying to get through to the non-existent open line?

    Lauren:

    The tension here is unbelievable

This is the longest game we've ever had

    and on and on.

    Donater?
