Application For Irish Passport

Hey, Does anyone knows why Non-Irish application for the Irish passports takes 2 years or over to be processed even tho there is less people applying for the irish passport.:mad::mad::mad: Also why there is a backlog of since 2007, what are the people in this sector of the goverment doing everyday when they go to work…
