    Hi there,

Unfortunately my junkers solid wooden flooring in my bedroom has been damaged somewhat by a water leak from my bedroom.
Rather than replace the whole lot I was hoping there might be some way to lessen the damage in some way - some kind of spray or vanish
or anything like that ?? (I know I won't get the wood to its original state). Would a carpenter be able to do anything ?

In parts the wood has taken a very dark colcour.

    Any tips anybody ?
    Thanks a lot,
    Eoin.

best thing you can do is leave it for 6 months before doing anything. the dark stain is probably just damp under the varnish. it will eventually dry out
